1. How to make a reservation Uncover Egypt acts as a booking agent on behalf of a variety of Egyptian excursion providers. To book, either click on the link under the excursion you wish to book and send us an e-mail on our request form, advising us the exact date you wish to go to go on the trip, how many persons and their names, which hotel you are staying at, contact telephone number and arrival date in Sharm El Sheikh or alternatively call us on 0800 980 2316. We will send you confirmation of the cost and availability by return along with an invoice. If you wish to go ahead a deposit will be required to secure the booking. Please read the booking terms and conditions carefully. They apply to all bookings made with Uncover Egypt and to all members of the party.
2. Contract Once we receive the deposit a revised e-mail invoice will be sent to you confirming the deposit and your booking. At the time that we send this confirmation a binding contract comes into existence. The contract date is the same date that appears on the confirmation.
3. Holiday Insurance We strongly recommend that you arrange appropriate holiday insurance. This insurance should cover the cost of cancellation, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to the UK in the event of an accident or illness. Please make sure that you advise your insurer of any special activities you may undertake on your holiday such as diving which may affect your holiday insurance. Note: very often Quad biking is not covered by holiday insurance, so you may have to be prepared to take this trip at your own risk.
4. Payments A) If you pre book an excursion you are required to pay a deposit of 25% of the total value of the excursion at the time of booking confirmation. This payment should be made promptly, normally within three days of Uncover Egypt reserving excursions for you. Deposits are payable by cheque and should be sent to the Uncover Egypt offices. The outstanding balance becomes due when you reach the resort and this balance should be settled in sterling cash to our team members in the resort. By agreeing to these booking conditions you consent to this procedure. Please note your booking will be cancelled if you fail to make payment.
B) If you do not want to pre book prior to departure, you can call our team in the resort and book when you arrive. The full price of the excursion will be due and these payments must be made by sterling cash. Please note your booking will be cancelled if you fail to make payment.
5. Special Requests If you have any special requests relating to excursions please let us know at the time of booking. Uncover Egypt pride themselves on the relationship that is has with the excursion providers and strives to meet all your special requests. We will pass such requests to the excursion provider, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that they will be available. Further, if the excursion provider is unable to meet such requests neither Uncover Egypt nor the excursion provider will have any liability in this respect unless such special requests have been confirmed and guaranteed at the time of booking confirmation.
6. Changes to your booking If you need to change any details of your original booking after we have supplied you with your confirmation we will do our best to help. However, the excursion provider and Uncover Egypt has no obligation to make any changes. If you wish to make any change to your booking whilst on holiday, such requests should be made through our resort team and are subject to availability and any extra cost must be met at the time of change in the resort.
7. If you have to cancel your excursion No refund will be made, including any deposits paid.Uncover Egypt will try to avoid having to make any changes to any bookings. In the unlikely event the excursion provider advises us that they are unable to supply the excursion booked, we will try to provide you with a similar excursion of equal standard. If we are unable to do this, or you prefer not to accept the alternative, you may cancel free of charge. Any payments you have made already made will be refunded to you in full.
8. Booking responsibilities Due to the fact that Uncover Egypt acts only as a booking agent it has no liability for any of the excursions and in particular no liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind. Any claim for damages for injury, illness or death arising from your trip must be brought against the provider of the excursion and will be covered under the jurisdiction of the law of Egypt.
9. Complaints procedure Should you have a problem on your excursion, it is a condition of booking with us that you must report it to our team in the resort. If the issue is not resolved you must send us a fax or e-mail in the UK to make us aware of your complaint. We will then send a fax or e-mail back acknowledging your complaint. Uncover Egypt will act as an intermediary to try to rectify the problem. Excursion providers must be given the opportunity to resolve any issues and allowances must be made by you for any local conditions regarding the reasonable amount of time taken to rectify the problem. Compensation payments will only be considered where it is proven that any reported problem had a prolonged or major impact on the enjoyment of your excursion. Note: Aircraft malfunctions are considered out of the excursion provider's control, in the case that there is a delay on flights. If a flight is cancelled then every effort will be made to either change the mode of transport or to re-schedule the trip. It is not acceptable to make a serious complaint after you have returned home.
10. Indemnity When booking through Uncover Egypt you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and your party during your excursion. The excursion provider reserves the right at any time to terminate your trip or that of any member of your party due to the misconduct of any member of your party within their reasonable opinion. Full cancellation will then apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore, the excursion provider shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs of expenses you may incur as a result of such termination, in accordance with this paragraph. If the behavior of any member of your party causes damage to any of the property provided by the excursion provider, you agree to fully indemnify Uncover Egypt against any claim (including any legal costs) made against the excursion provider. You are also liable to reimburse the excursion provider for any damage caused before the end of your stay.
