The Mercure is a modern spacious hotel is located right in the heart of Luxor, well placed for sight seeing and just across the road from the river Nile. This good value hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

All 314 rooms offer either king or twin sized beds, a small private terrace or balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, well equipped bathrooms with bath tub, shower, bidet and wc. Nile view rooms are available at a supplement. Interconnecting rooms are also available on request.
The Mercure has four restaurants, including the buffet-style main restaurant which has themed nights, a small intimate French a la carte bistro and by the swimming pool there is an Italian a la carte restaurant and terrace serving delicious pizzas and pastas. In the lobby there is “Le Champollion” restaurant which is open 24hr a day. There is a bar by the pool and in the lobby the “Sarab” bar features occasional entertainment.
Le Bistrot sells a good selection of cakes and drinks and there is an internet café in the Lobby. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, billiards, table tennis, and a children’s area which includes a mini golf course. Other services include, shopping arcade, laundry service , 24hr reception, disco open every night until 2.00am and a cash machine. Safe deposit boxes are available at reception, free of charge.
