This stylish hotel is located right on the banks of the river Nile with fantastic views but is also just a short walk from the centre of Luxor. This very comfortable hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes from the airport.
Accommodation
All 302 rooms and suites offer either king or twin sized beds. Standard rooms overlook the courtyard whilst most superior rooms and suites have a view of the Nile. All rooms are very spacious and stylishly furnished and have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe deposit boxes, IDD phones with voice mail and radio, internet access, hairdryers, well equipped bathrooms with bath tub and shower. Interconnecting rooms are available on request.
Facilities + Services
The Le Meridien Luxor has a great selection of restaurants, including the international buffet-style main restaurant; there is also a Lebanese restaurant, the only one in Luxor, an Italian restaurant and “Nubia BBQ” restaurant which serves mixed grills in the garden overlooking the river. There is also a coffee shop which serves delicious pastries, coffee and tea a real afternoon treat! The hotel also has a Bedouin bar right by the Nile where you can have a drink, smoke the shisha pipe and watch the beautiful sunsets, there is also a pool bar, a lobby bar and a bar in the courtyard.
The hotel has a smallish outdoor swimming pool heated in winter and as well as being able to sit around the pool there are also sundecks on different levels all facing the beautiful view of the Nile. For the energetic there is a fully equipped gym where guests can use the exercise room free of charge a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi are planned to be built by (end summer 06). Massages are available (chargeable). Also available are billiards and darts. Other services include, shopping arcade, laundry service, hairdresser, bookshop, wireless internet access in reception areas, 24hr room service, car rental service, business centre, medical clinic, bank and cash machine.

A stylish hotel, the pool and the gardens are quite compact however the bedrooms are spacious and very nicely furnished to a high standard. The “Nubia BBQ” restaurant is right on the Nile and is a wonderful place to sit under the shaded vines eating delicious food and watching life on the Nile. This hotel is also in a great position for all the sights of Luxor.
