This friendly hotel is the sister hotel to the Radisson S.A.S Resort. It
is positioned across the road and offers guests the beach and facilities
of it's 4+ sister. Situated in Nabq this hotel is 20 minutes from Naama
Bay and 10 minutes from the airport by taxi.
Accommodation
This hotel has 198 rooms and suites decorated to a high standard. All have twin or king size beds, air-conditioning, minifridge, satellite TV, telephone and in room safe. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath tub, shower and hairdryer. Each room has a terrace or a balcony with either a pool, garden, mountain or sea view. Tea and coffee making facilities are available on request. Connected rooms are available for families.
Facilities & Services
The “Palm” Restaurant is the main dining room and offers buffet style dining it has an outside dining terrace facing the distant mountains, where the spectacular sunset can be watched. There is a lobby bar and a pool bar, guests can also use the “Coral” beach bar on the beach at the Radisson S.A.S resort.
A variety of á la carte restaurants are available at the sister hotel at a local charge. Golden Resort guests enjoy 25% discount on any meals taken in these restaurants. Daily evening entertainment is organized along with a weekly Bedouin dinner.
The hotel has 3 pools, one is heated, one is for children and there is a diving club situated on the 220m of private white sandy beach shared with the Radisson S.A.S guests, on the beach there is a kids club and a play area. At the Golden resort there is a health club which offers a free small gym and there is a spa with 3 separate saunas and steam room (charged locally) and a Jacuzzi whirlpool (free).
Massage and beauty treatments are available on request (charged locally). There are two floodlit tennis courts (small charge pm), volleyball, darts, table tennis and a kids club. At the back of the hotel lies a small cluster of souvenir shops to wander through.
Wireless internet access is free; there is a charge for use of the internet through the computers in the internet area. A shuttle bus service to Naama Bay costs US $4 return payable locally. A free shuttle bus goes frequently to and from the beach during the day.
