Set in one of the newly discovered bays, the Nubian Village is located on the beautiful clear water of the Red Sea making this an ideal resort for diving and snorkeling. Nabq is about 20 minutes away from Naama Bay and 10 minutes from the airport.
Accommodation
There are 263 rooms in total, the main building has 159 rooms which are spacious and have either a terrace and pool view on the ground floor or a balcony and sea view on the first and second floors. Rooms have a king or twin sized bed, and all have a double sofa bed, a further bed can be accommodated which makes these rooms suitable for a family of 5. Some bedrooms also have interconnecting doors if two rooms are preferred for a family. Bathrooms have a bath and a shower.
Set within the lovely quiet gardens are 104 bungalows decorated in Nubian style. All have terraces and either a king or twin beds. Bathrooms in the bungalows have a walk in shower, which makes this accommodation suitable for wheelchair users. Both accommodations have air conditioning, mini bar, hairdryer, and satellite TV. Babysitting services are available.
Facilities & Services
The hotel has two swimming pools both include swimming areas for children and 220m long beach which is shared with the sister hotel neighbor the Nubian Island and with a long jetty to swim off.
There are a number of beach facilities including the Mr. Diver diving centre. Within the grounds there are Bedouin tents, gift shops a pharmacy, clinic, a gym (free), massage and beauty parlour (payable locally), laundry service, an internet room, bank and a theatre where there is evening entertainment. Please note however that the entertainment is often presented in Italian.
A shuttle bus runs three times a day to Naama Bay free of charge and twice with a small charge. Sports facilities include two tennis courts (chargeable at night), a football and volleyball court, billards and bikes (chargeable).
For the younger members of the family there is a kids club, play area and battery operated mini cars and scooters (payable). The main dining room serves buffet style meals and there are a number of themed nights. The “Corallo” Restaurant serves lunch and is near the beach, there are also an á la carte sea food restaurant with a terrace and a typical Egyptian food restaurant in a Bedouin tent.
In high summer there is also a grill restaurant. The three á la carte restaurants are not included in the "all inclusive price". There is a lobby bar, two pool bars a beach bar and a disco bar open in high season.
